I had a full frame not take the tractor right away also, I sat there for a few seconds while everything creaked and groaned then bloop! over she went, that few seconds seemed like hours.

There are only 2 types of those trailers... those who have been laid over & those who are going to be laid over.

    Glad your OK.

When we hauled kiln dust we lined the bed with plastic. Slid right out.
Plastic rolls were covered in the great rate.

I see a lot of guys spread a bale of straw in the bottom also to keep dirt from sticking.

Well after looking over the truck today I made the executive decision to not try and patch it together again. The passenger side of the cab is pushed in a good 8-10", hood is tweaked pretty bad, destroyed a fender and now my fifth wheel has a ton of slop in it. Truck is leaning a good 6" lower on the driver side all of a sudden, I don't know if it damaged the front spring when it went back over with the crane truck but it did slam pretty hard. I kinda think the frame may be tweaked though. So the old 359 is dead for the most part, I'm going to miss my hood.

Anyhow, my brother's 379 blew it's 3406B two years back so I am gonna make him a deal on the motor out of mine so he can switch it over and then I'll probably sell the 13spd and DS404's out of my old truck and possibly scrap the rest of the truck out. I'll be keeping the Cozad ramp and wet kit for my new truck (purchased today!) and a few other miscellaneous little things here and there to switch into the new truck.

The new truck is one I found on craigslist, '89 377 with a 400 Cummins, 13spd, DS402's with 4.11's. It was inframed 200k ago (with receipts) and just got new brakes and drums put on it, all tires are 80% or better as well. I got another really good deal on this truck ($7500) so it takes some of the sting out of the whole deal. This is the second truck I've lucked out and gotten a great deal on now, paid $5500 for the 359 but had to put a tranny in it. Excited for the new (to me!) truck but I've got a long couple days getting stuff switched over and ready for work on Tuesday.

    Here's the new truck: [IMG]

    Good on you!
    Congratulations!
Although it's not the way we want to use to get a new truck, you've seemed to have done well.:biggrin_25514:
