I've got 2 questions.
1) Why did you use your own money to fuel the reefer if they had such a bad record of paying you your actual paycheck? I'd have called several times then let it run out before I put my money that I probably would not get back into it.
2) Why did you stay for a month without getting paid? I've had a mix-up and been skipped a week but on the 2cd week if both weeks were not there I would have parked the truck and refused to move until I was paid.aiwiron, Rollover the Original, Joescheppae Q and 1 other person Thank this. -
probably did what I did because I've known, the 2 guys incharge for over 30 yr's, suprized me??

Well, if you can't see what's going on here I suggest you find an ex arrow trucking employee. That way you can see your future. I read something about cross creek getting their icc# pulled? I hate to say it buddy but the warning signs are there, I think it would be better to run away on your terms, than theirs. The whole reefer thing isn't my business, I will say I like hearing that you take that much pride in your job......most guys wouldn't care at all and let it run out. I wouldn't let a load spoil whether I was a company driver or an o/o. Please man you sound like a good loyal driver, find yourself a company that will treat you as good as you are treating cc.

Roehl is right.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
When a company is failing, they quit paying bills. Fuel is the last bill they'll renig. It's their lifeblood.
If they're having trouble with fuel, and if they're slow paying payroll, it's only a matter of days..or maybe a few weeks at best.
Better you're elsewhere when it happens. -
I saw a Cross Creek Trucking truck on I 70 yesterday. I checked their SMS website just to be sure. OUT OF SERVICE! I called KS 911, guess they don't care a truck going down the road without insurance.
Hope dude doesn't crash. No ambulance chaser will be paid. -

read on here last weekend they were shut down but seen two of them going opposite directions on i5 last week. seen one with trailer repainted with large black well or black what ever letters on trailer.
-
The yellow truck and trailers you see were repo'd by the orignal owner of Cross Creek. They are the Blackwell's. I got this from a CC driver.

Seems to me that one of the few choices a driver might have is to have a going out of business sale out of the back of the trailor. Is it a little early to get my order in or a case of ribeyes? Too soon?
