Yes you can get/use your own fuel card. Remember that if you do get credit from the fuel card supplier it has to be paid on a weekly basis, although most will make you pay in advance.

I've had/used a TCH card for years but I am looking for input on the NASTC fuel card.

I have the NASTC/Fleet One card. The discounts are in line with what I was receiving from my carrier who was on TCH.

It's a bit of a pain to set up, but effortless thereafter.

Join NASTC for $250 per year and get their Fleet One Card to recieve wholesale fuel prices at cost plus 5 cents per gallon.

I have seen the NASTC fuel price at a TA as much as 30 cents per gallon less than the cash price on the sign. It varies more than the sign prices and will be from at least 6 cents to 30 cents less than cash price on sign.

NASTC has a network of fuel stops that does include all TA and Petros with several other independent Truckstops.

Here is example: Petro in Dodge City, AL cash price = $ 3.659, NASTC price = $ 3.5229 that is a difference of $ .1361 per gallon today.

    NASTC website: http://www.nastc.com/

You will save around $2500 per year in fuel cost with NASTC compared to cash price purchasing you currently use that is well worth the membership cost to NASTC.

Sounds like a membership with NASTC would be far better than one with ORE-IDA. :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559:

Eh, I find a lot of tiny truck stops that can be 30-40 cents cheaper than any of the big chains and most of them take T-check cards. Last time I was in Houston all the stations in the area were up around $3.89 but there was one little two pump station down the road at $3.55. Tcheck card or cash only.

I belong to both OOIDA and NASTC. We need all the help we can get out here and there is power in numbers.
