What you got in your head les? I got an idea of what he will say, convert to a bosch p pump, and if I remember right his truck had twins on it at some point, not sure if it still does.Last edited: Dec 28, 2011

yes and yes and yes

Oh I'm not wanting that much power, although it would be fun. I have to get the right cam back in the truck first. Know anyone who has a 3013 cam laying around they don't need anymore?
I'm half afraid to go buy the cam put all that work and money into it and it not be the problem.
Isn't Cliff located in Western PA? -
I will see if I can find one around some where, it might take me a little while though.
I will admit that sort of power from a mechanical would be nice, I just don't like the idea of loosing the timing advance as well as having to switch to Bosch nozzles. I looked into it before, but it just doesn't to be worth it for a road truck.
Oh, sorry about misspelling your name. -
No Problem on the name thing, you got it closer than what my wife calls me most of the time....

See thats the thing, I can't see dumping a ton of money on Bosch stuff to make it run. I also don't need all that HP, I just want most of it!
What makes this really hard is this truck supports my family. I can't afford to take it apart and leave it set till i get money up to put something new into it. Freight has been slow so if it isn't broke I ain't fixing it. No extra cash to play with if you know what I mean.
Plus my dad is considering retiring and if he does I'll buy his truck and this one will become a yard ornament, for a little while. -
I'm not a Betting Man lenny but I'm sure I would take your money on this one

The Turbo may Choke it but it will go Hard no problem and Kurt can vouch for that as he has driven it with and without.. Personally Id like to see the torque curve more so than the HP.
I guess in the coming months we shall have some real-time data to mull over!
I would love to have the ECM that he is using and flow these with the matching ECM so as to plot it from Low to High Idle. Map the whole fuel curve in relation to the fuel Tables then get someone who can edit the tables to suit.montana cowboy Thanks this. -
I know having the truck down is a pain, when we bought this last T600 we planned on throwing it right on the road, then ended up converting it from a PEEC to a manual and then had to replace an oil cooler.
Even for what I was doing with my B model I cant see spending that sort of money on those parts, so mine got put away. Now Im gonna see if I can get a big cam to stay together.
Kurt, are you still running the 318883 or did you switch back to the bigger turbo? -
I believe what you said above would net some amazing results, now getting someone to tune it properly would the kicker.
