Recovery has been more frustrating than anything. Keep wodering when it'll all be normal again, if ever. Had double vidion nearly a year then BAM! it was gone Labor day weekend. We have 2 large dogs, a yellow lab about 11 yrs old and a black lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix that just turned 1. Sweep every other day because of all the shedding they do! If I had a housekeeper, she'd have quit long ago.
I'll be riding with DH when they head to Tampa at the end of this month. That's only about an hours drive from the house.

I know that recovery adjustment and acceptance. People like to say it will get easier each day but those are usually people who have niever had to make any adjustments. Hang in there..you have a good attitude about it and only you can set a pace that is comfortable for you.
It is a shame you can't collect the dog hair ands make a coat- You could start a whole new trend.
I am sure when you see hubby pulling in the driveway, it will be the prettiest truck you ever saw. I am sure you will enjoy going with him and just spendiing some time together. It has to be hard having him gone so long. -
stage call out of Apache Junction, AZ need a passport, company trucks gov at 68 mph. they have two job positions
1 working on the tour
2 transporting stages to and from show to storage.Moving on Down the Road Thanks this. -
For a whole tour or for an one-off for a tour? This could be a good opportunity for driver/drivers but we own our truck and wouldn't be interested in a driver position. Thanks for posting the info though, hopefully, some driver looking for employment can get a job.

our pays not bad depending on the tour or what your doing at the moment, but as stated earlier tours and this industry gives very little home time, they do try to run you by your home or they try every 4 months or if the tour your on goes by or in your home town is usually when i get home for a day or so but feb to nov is wide open for us and then you get all the one offs and holiday shows running so its fair to say if you need home time this is deffinatly not for you.

I would love to do this but I'm waiting until I have more experience under my belt first. I heard U2's summer concert tour this year requires 100 trucks. 100 TRUCKS! Most I've seen are like 5-6 and that was passing by the trucks hauling Brad Paisley's equipment down in Birmingham.

Contracted Driver Services in Phoenix provides them with temporary drivers. I'd call them if you want to get onto a tour.
-
Upstaging has the U2 tour
they have there headquarters in the town i live in -
Paisleys stuff is hauled by Extreme out of Nashville.
O/O if you want to stay at it try Clark Transfer they are an all O/O company that has been around forever.
Good Luck with it. -
