Figures. I just shot an app over their web site for that part time regional. Says 300-400 miles per run, 2-3 days at a time.

Kinda just wanted to talk to them about it, but what the heck, I filled out app anyways.

EDIT: Just got email back from them stating that the position has been recently filled. Tsk.

 

I do the part-time thing out of the Portland Region, let them know what days and how many you want to work and they take care of you, have never had to set around waiting on a load. I think you have to give them at least 3 days per week, you can do as many more as you want but, think it's a 3 day minimum.

 

I am a little late finding this but I feel the same way. I am tired of all the "political correctness" myself. I do the same thing TennMan.

You know what is crazy is we have been saying Merry Christmas for how long? You can thank the liberals for kicking God out of this country. And people wonder why things are so bad now?

 

I don't think being liberal has anything to do with it. I think it is the idiots in politics whether it be Democrats or Republicans. They get into office and they are afraid to offend anyone. I am liberal in some aspects and conservative on others and I say Merry Christmas. Too much stereotyping.

 

I did not specify Dems or Repubs. But you are right, there are politicians with good intent that get into office and fold because of that fear. No one has the balls to stand up for what's right anymore. This country has turned into "everything is acceptable today" except for God. He has been removed from everything this country was founded on. It won't be long before it falls just like the Roman Empire. History repeats itself.
