    Just a general question, When out on the road, do you shower daily, every other day or once a week?? I was out this week with my TE and we left Monday morning and just returned Friday @ 4:30. I found the time to shower Tuesday and Thursday mornings. My TE did not shower at all while on the road. Is this normal for truck drivers??? It seemed kinda nasty to me. Your thoughts? I asked why didnt he shower and he replied that it was too cold (temp outside). Also wore the same clothes every day of the week.

    I always plan on every other day, most of the time I will make it to the showers 3 out of 5 days. I am also a team, pulling doubles so that plays into it. We need a larger parking lot to stop.

    I believe every individual is different. But to not shower over a five day period is friggin nasty. I will be requesting a new TE next week. I though Schneider had their stuff together, but I see otherwise.

    That is still poor hygene..I shower Every Nite...I utilize my gas points and always havew shower points available..I believe that a lot of Truckers are clean descent folks..BUT, i have SEEN and OBSERVED a few who only see water when it rains on them..Please, lets set the industry standard and at LEAST shower every other day with CLEAN clothes...

    I generally showered daily whenever possible. Get fuel, shower, grab 'road munchies', and boogey on down the road. But I like being clean...:biggrin_25524:

    Nasty as ####. He has a 2011 Cascadia. Lays in the bottom bunk and smokes in the middle of the night. Gotta give him credit though. I got back from eating Wednesday and he had sprayed Febreze. lol

    i shower everyday, every now and then i have to skip a day, but thats only if i cant get to one. I can count on my fingers how many times i've had to skip a shower.
