How can I tell if this engine has a jake on it?

Is there something to look for on the red top cover?

I see no Jake switch in the cab, but at the same time I see the wiring on the clutch.

    Thanks

The next layer under the rocker cover is the Jake section. It is about 2" thick, then the rocker box which is about 5" thick. If all you have under the rocker cover is the 5" section, then the head, it doesn't have Jakes. Also, on the right side of the engine the Jake housings have a single wire connected to each section, (housing). There will also be a Jake Brake id tag on the right side of the each housing too.
