I'm planning to sign up for training very soon, and the school I chose seems to be on everyone's $&#@ list around here. Yawl seem very knowledgeable and helpful so I'd love some good advice. I'm in Arizona. Thanks!

I live in Kingman. But I would recommend AIT in Phoenix. It's where I went in 99. Great school.

AIT is the most expensive and they have different phase of school. You can get a basics lesson or move up to higher level to learn more about over the road. They all teach the same thing. it just the equipment you need to look at. do they have good tractors or junk. is there driving course nice size or some parking lot. Most of them will give you a tour. do that and go from there. get the most for your buck.

i went there last week looking for a job, i took a minute to look at equipment and talked to someone who gave me rundown on training. i was impressed, seemed like they want to give top notch in their industry

I will be relocating to Golden Valley in the next few months and am considering SAGE for a refresher course. I've held a CDL since their inception and before that a Class 'A' license since 1989. Been out of the business for about 12 years but looking to get back in it.
I haven't contacted MCC yet to set up scheduling. At the moment I am in Phoenix and saw that you felt better training was available in Phx. May I ask why? What did or didn't you like about the MCC course?
Also would appreciate any tips on companies in the Kingman area that would be interested in a returning driver!
Thanks! -
Try HDS there ok.
