Hope you feel better dude go buy a huge bottle of sanitizer, keep your truck clean inside and shower and wash clothes including bed sheets regularly. It's all about healthy consience. Drink water plenty of it. Good luck.

well got to feeln good enough to drive so went to wauna then to haley now sitting at the trk stop by the interstate, itching to get headed home. Theres allways something i forget to do and today was to call in with eta, that might of made a difference in my next bload time, but hey i am gonna get all this sooner or later, still struggle with those routing directions but i talked to a fellow driver today that gave me some pretty good insight so i feel better about that. Well if i dont write any more on here till after xmas, i just want to tell everybody I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello to you all. Well siitn here in the Layton yard gonna head to N.D, in the morning to be with my mother. I have been reading some of the post on here where some people are very unhappy here at May. Well i wanna put my two cents in on that. I have had a pretty crappy past two weeks, i had the flu, i got kinda lost lol ok really lost(ya i know u r gonna say follow the routing well ) , and my truck is not running well, my truck is dirty, not many miles and a few repowers, my fiance is acting weird , and my DM is gone having a baby and some one else got the brunt of my bad last 2 weeks, talk to a couple of May drivers that were so miserable that i had to walk away and they even had shiny clean trucks and only gettn 3000 miles a week. It just seems like we look for things to complain about or dwell on or just plain arent happy. Is it really Mays fault or do those problems arise from else where and we cover it up by using May as the at fault. Ok enough of that gettn back to my deal.lol. Well what i did was first took a long hot shower and relaexed and reflected back on these two ###### weeks, and my conclusion is i need to relax more focus on task at hand, getting my load from point a-b, if something is bothering me go directly to Kathy and that is what i have done in the past, as far as my miles go at this point in my learning theres gonna be bad weeks and theres gonna be good weeks, and as far as home problems thats where their gonna stay at home, I treat my 18 wheeler as a loaded gun and aint no body gonna pull that trigger. I love May and i will be here for a long time and i WILL BE A COACH some day.

CONGRATS!! someone else on here FINALLY getting and making some sense
I'll tell you what I tell all my students and ANY new drivers...STAY OUT OF THE TRUCK STOPS AND TERMINALS!! DON'T TALK TO OTHER TRUCK DRIVERS!! They are just a group of whiny little girls, who like to gossip, and cry about everything! The easiest way for them to feel better is to make someone else feel bad.

I had the same attitude for a long time. Things do change though. I was a huge may cheerleader for over 2 years. They just are not a good fit for an experienced driver IMO.

When I first started trucking I did the same thing. Then I realized, if the industry is ever going to change you have to inject knowledge whenever possible. I make a point to reach out to those who are Misinformed and challenge those who spread ignorance.

I can tell your the same way, you post to this board and by that your helping more people then you could ever possibly understand.

    Take care brother, happy holidays.

Well i am back in Layton and ready to roll. Had a GOOD home time , was in western n.d. kinda cold but not bad. We sure needed the break from Vernal and i feel that i am back on track and this will be a good three weeks. The last few weeks i didnt feel as if i was being a very good team player, had so much going on outside of my job that it was consuming me, but like i said in one other post, it is what i make it and i am gonna make it, not on my own though i have other team players that are willing to help me any way they can and for that i appreciate all of you. Thats how to become successfull

Well as you all know i sat for a while in Sinclair wyoming due to light load and high winds. A funny thing happened while i was there ,had a few guys that i think i may have recruited which was a pretty cool feeling. However had one guy that i had to stand up to that was bashing my may family, i did it in a prof and polite manner but let me tell ya it was hard to keep my composure but i did it. I still enjoy being part of this family however there are some things that i wished would change one being i would like a pete, which some day i may. The other thing is i wished we could take a pet with us even if a deposit was required. last but not least what are some things you other drivers would like to see happen or change. Well the number one terminal is Layton (lets see what kind of responce i get on that one lol) you all be safe
