I hate to say it but I don't know if $5000 will get much truck these days, I know its a Volvo and its a 95 but I figured what I was asking was very cheap. especially with a wet line and a good track record. Mercer was very strict on trucks being good looking and DOT shape at all times. I failed an annual one time for a missing clip on a air hose, and slightly more then a 1/16th of an inch play on my steering shaft u-joint
1995 volvo wia....wetline... Cheap

i know thats what i told him, he just wants to put out as little money as he can up front and hope it last a year then upgrade to something better. He's already got work lined up for a truck...just needs a truck lol.

Yeah I understand that, I started out thinking like that too and quickly realized this truck made me the most money, I also ran an 01 Freightliner classic with a 600 cummins and having a payment sucked when things broke and times were slow thats why I always held onto this truck I just sold the "SHAKER" and now this ones hopefully going too. Between CSA and DOT and rates and I wanted to be home more and reduce my stress. I put a guy in this truck and in 3 days he flipped the trailer on its side!!!! Then I found out progressive had canceled my policy without telling me, talk about stress

I don't see how that truck wouldn't last a year. I had an old Winn-Dixie volvo and hauled sod out of south Florida for quite a few years, heavy loads and very unforgiving conditions and we never had the first issue with that truck. It was a workhorse and shocked the hell out of me how well it performed off road. AT, I bet your dad would see a return on his investment with that truck in no time.

I know, now to see if i can get HIM to understand that lol He just texted back "looks good where is it?"

He wants to know how big the sleeper is?

Where is the truck located?

Looks like its in Ohio since thats where the owner is from.

Sorry computer was acting up. I'm in Wellington Ohio. 44090 it has a 36" bunk. I have to say my freightliner had a 86" condo with all the options including wood floors, and I missed this little sleeper every night lol. I loved having everything near by and not all cluttered up like you can in a big sleeper

Here is a picture of my other truck I just sold. Like I said I take good care of my trucks and worked very hard to get those 2 trucks. But after my Dad passed the business was never the same without him there to help me
