I won't say the trucking company name yet because I just started here 3 weeks ago. Look at these photos of my third truck of the first week that I worked at this place. This was the condition of the truck minus the McDonlds cup and gatorade bottle.
The first truck that I had in the first week blew a turbo, then drove another guys truck for a day who was off that week, and then got this truck that you see in the photos. I have been driving for 7 years and guess I need to check into companies better before I work for them!
Also, when we leave the trucks at the yard, we are to leave the key in the truck and leave it unlocked! Aparently the boss will use your truck if he needs to and will sleep in your truck....GROSS. He is very dirty looking with greasy hair and huge blackheads on his face. That's not what I want curling up in my sheets and pillow. I will say however, he does own the truck and can do what he wants with them. Just never worked at a place like that before. Pay isn't good and could go on about some other stuff as well but that's enough for now. Enjoy the photos......

That looks like a great company. Is there a waiting list? Looks like you'd spend half of your first day cleaning up the filth.
I've seen companies trying to peddle driving jobs that required I drive trucks with blood-soaked or grease-stained mattresses. One side was covered with blood or grease, and the other side was even worse. And no, they wouldn't change 'em out, either. Yummmy. -
Cant see picture yet so I'm posting this to see picture
-
EEEWWWW! Thats gross.
-
Figured Id post to see the pic also.
-
I guess I'm just posting this to get to see the picture also but I will say before hand that if the company doesn't take the time to inspect the truck before it's reassigned, that would be a warning sing to me to look for other bad things to come..
-
I fixed that problem. Should be able to see now without posting, but still have to be a member.
-
Question - Why are you hang on there?
-
I could post some gross pics of some of our daycabs! But its not quite in the same category, we dont get to sleep in our trucks. Although on the days when I have to use another guys truck I want to get into a rubber suit to get in it.
We have A LOT of mud, so you can just imagine what the floors look like (and NO, we dont have carpets thankfully!).
Whtlinefvr: good luck finding a job that gives you an opportunity to at least want to feel at home in the truck you drive! -
Look at my recent post if you want to see how this one ended up for me.
Time to spill the beans on this company....
