    could i potentially get the boot for affecting my company's nsc rating? i might give some lawyers a call.

    At the least they shoud haul your BUTT in and read you the riot act.

    I take it that you haven't reporrted these two "incidents" to your safety department...that could lead to your dismissal also.

    Yup and they will find out because as carriers doing due diligence, you should be pulling a copy of your CVOR/CVSA profile along with all of your drivers profiles at least once per year, every 6 months preferably.

    You should have done it the same day or the following business day...
    Better they hear it from you first.... owning up to a mistake is better than covering it up....

    Yep, and maybe they can suggest a lawyer that they have used in the past to save your BUTT and their NSC rating!

    well that didn`t go over well.. one more of these and i`m done. not that i would`ve expected anything less.

    Yes you could. If you affect their rating it's because you done something wrong.

    It probably would have gone better if you'd been honest and told them up front..

    It will certainly show up on the carrier's NSC rating, but if AB and BC don't have reciprocity, it won't show up on your driver's abstract. This, I know, from personal experience, as BC and MB don't have reciprocity.
