Thanks TLH, I figured he must be when I did the math. -
Dryver,
I know I ended the year in the top 10 Alliance drivers. My gross was $195,423.68.
But keep in mind, that includes training miles.
My last year as a solo driver (2010) grossed $168,731.12.
I'm not sure where I was in the ranking for 2010.
Like TLea said, that number had to be a full team.Dryver Thanks this. -
In my early search for a company, the Stevens recruiter gave me his name and phone number and I called him. The fellow lives a couple of hours away in Detroit, trains, runs a team, has no life, and knows how to maximize revenue. The numbers are real and his net is pretty impressive, too. But he's not an example for me to emulate because he trains and runs team. I don't want either.

Dryver I grossed 178 last year with 70 days off.I also train.Could have made more, but I usually take 7 days off every 5 weeks.Net before taxes,53000.I tend to stick my foot in it occasionally, only a 6.85 on the mpg.Might have to slow it down some more.Im not disciplined all the time like Emu.I averaged about 36 cents per mile.Dryver Thanks this.

If you took 70 or so days off and took home around 50grand....... that's pretty good tasting money! Ah! I remember the Alliance days!
-
Yes Dujo I did pretty well. But again I train .Thats what allows me to take that much timeoff.Probably couldnt take that much time off if solo.I could, but it would affect me significantly on the financial side.
-
I quit training for the most part. I enjoy being solo. Honestly, I was becoming short on patience. Maybe in a few months ill try again. Almost 3.5 years with no break......burnout.
