I would not wait until you come off home to get the truck to the dealership.
Call road rescue, and get it in the shop while you are home. You will not get breakdown pay either way, as you are in your home area.
Chance of getting a truck into a dealership for work on thursday, and getting it back on friday, slim and NONE.
Each shop is independently owned, and set their own hours.

Got here about 10 hours ago. Roomie is in his last week. Seems pretty cool, we chatted a bit and went out for breakfast. I went to sleep after that because the bus ride left me sleepy. Ready to get this stuff going!

Finally got back in my truck today. KW did a very good job putting her back together. It feels good to have her back. I called dispatch to get a load out of here. The guy on the other end couldn't understand why I didn't have a trailer...even though I explained the whole thing to him 3 times. He ended up telling me that I would have to wait for the planner to get in tomorrow am to get a load. So I am parked at the Secaucus Wal Mart until tomorrow. Hopefully it won't snow too much.

Same here. They sent me down to Edison, NJ to grab an mty. I hauled ### down here thinking that they have a load ready to go...Nope. Been down here for 5 hours waiting. I called my DM, and he reply's that they're trying to get freight as fast as they can. You can't tell me that they have 0 loads going out of the NE. I told him that I would give it another 30 minutes, but then I will be heading to the nearest ts...35 miles away.
