well it's the same system you have in your truck it's just being mated to the proper software in green bay supposedly the new software will track the driver's hours of service and always be correct where the driver will be used to their maximum potential and it will all flow effortlessly, supposed to make dispatch more accurate and stream lined. Might not affect choice driver's at all.

Well they did some sort of switchover to our logs last week. They sent a message to asking if anyone was on paper logs because they would get messed up when they upgraded the system or something. I probably should pay more attention to all this but i really just want to.run what i want and be left alone so i try to stay out of everything as much as possible. We arent dispatched so it probably affects us much less

Looks like it sucks
i used to haul those masonite loads when i was with landstar -
My board was supposed to be heading in for training on the new system in January. It looks like it has been put on indefinite hold.
I was told last spring that a major focus of the new software was to improve box tracking and management. From the rumor mill I hear the main problem with the new software is box tracking and management. -
Kind of ironic isnt it? Lol
-
yeah i heard back a couple years ago when they put trailer tracking on the trailers that the software didn't work with the old system and now it still isn't working right with the new system. by time it's figured out the mcp200's will be 10 years old and about ready to replace. LOL

Could be the managers tracking the boxes maybe ??
A quick look at Saturday through Tuesday with me.
Saturday...dispatched on 2 differant loads. Pre-assigned/loaded trailers.
Both had already been picked up.
Monday...another load picked up before I arrived.
Tuesday.... Equip Disp to shipper. Drop Box & P/U loaded. Simple enough, right?
Once load was sent to truck. I sent for directions and fuel stops. Knowing where the shipper was, I headed to the shipper, dropped my trailer. Then checked my fuel stops.
That's when I noted an additional stop at another location IN the directions and fuel stop info, with a drop trailer there, then BT to current shipper.
Sending the departure resulted in a response of "Where did you drop trailer?"
At the shipper of course. Since the "other" location was never part of the load plan.
Something needs to happen here. Or we're going to be bleeding money....all of us. -
yea i hope they get it worked out and soon........

Luckily i havent had many of those problems except on time i got.to.tulsa to get my trl and someone else already took it. Our pu # were real close and tbey gave him the wrong trl. Luckily both our loads were going the same place so sni had me take his. Still took an hour to figure that out tho.
Also i have gotten to the oc only to be told my trl wasnt assigned to me. Sent a few msg back and forth and was told it was straight but when i went to leave it still wasnt straight. Thats happened more then once. One more reason i dont like going to oc's
