I think they got confused because Samoa officially moved to the other side of the International Date Line about that same time.

Sheesh. All they had to do was look at a clock.

new years day I was sitting in Paula Valley, OK waiting for a load. Got one deadheading me to Liberal then 4 drops in California. According.g to load assignment it was to be picked up 12/31.

I fly over to Liberal and load not ready. Plant is shut down for the holiday. Dld was 1/3 at 1345. Load wasn't ready until 2030. Long story short they repowered me in Tucumcari. Was hoping to at least get to Flagstaff or so with it.

Now I'm sitting at Hard Rock casino in Albaqurque waiting for a load.

Got to the service plaza just E of the OH/IN border last night. The free shower and cheap laundry is nice. Maybe other states should follow suit. I watched a driver start to drain his oil onto the ground. I then watched 2 troopers and a local pull up. They hauled his ### off to jail and towed his truck. Good riddance. The oil was running into a drainage grate that had "Dump No Waste! Drains To River!" written in big letters. People like that make me sick, and I can honestly say that I wouldn't have cared if one of the cops shot his scrawny little ### right there. I can just hope that they throw the book at him.

And they wonder why truckers have a bad reputation

I was thinking about that, myself. I am no more able to "scuffle" with another human being than I am able to dunk a basketball.

Hi guys. Been busy. Tuesday was paperwork. Wed was physicals, piss test and hernia check. Doctor was a little cutie. Lots of people went home that day. One because he couldn't see out of one eye, another cus his sugar content was to high, about 3 for blood presure reasons. Got to DPS today and luckily they took my new mexico permit (even though its expired, shhhh) and just gave me a TX permit. Still gotta take air brakes, combo, and general knowledge which kinda bugs only cus I had to take it all for my NM permit but then again they weren't hard to begin with so I'm not worried about it. I paid for them all so tomorrow all I have to do is go in and tell the front desk lady I wanna take a test and bam, I take it.

There was a guy in class that came up and said "hey, your demonslayer" and i was like, yep, move, food. Sorry! I didn't eat breakfast that day because it was physical day and it was lunch time. I was hungry D:

All in all, the ability to pay off the loan within the first year at $3600 and be completely free is great. I will pay it off just to get out from the debt. I DO NOT like this freakin 70 hour/8 day ########. If they spend 15 hours loadin my trailer well now. Wtf. Thats jackin me straight up. And you cant do the 34 hour reset in the berth. Gotta be away from the truck. Thats some bull... seems like money makin is gonna be kinda hard...
