    Always, and I mean always.
    Get as much stuff in writing before you go to orientation to sign up.
    That goes for all these companies, and all employers in general.
    With this economy we have now it's an employers market more than ever
    and they dont give a poopy about you, your needs, your family, or anything
    unless it makes them money !!!

    truckon , we all trust what people tell us . if we all new it all then we wouldn't need to trust any body but we don't so therefore we have to trust what we're told , sometimes with a grain of salt . i don't believe that it's stupid that we have to trust what were told , not all ways , of course not but for the most part we do .
    all i was doing was telling people about an experince i had with a trucking so other's wouldn't make the same mistake i did .

    ya, you do have a point, although I wasn't replying to you so much as speaking in general, it seems like every other post is a newbie who believed every thing some company told them, if they had even did a little research they could have avoided allot. in this day and age it seems everyone is only looking out for themselves. got to watch your back..

    all i was doing when i wrote about crst was trying to keep someone else from making the same mistake . all the negetive i got towards me from all of you that replied was un called for . it was sayed that i was stupid and that i was a dummy. i was just trying to look out for the oo's or any body who was thinking about leasing a trk through crst . so think of me as you will . all i can say is is all you can do is bash people and knock em down for just trying to be helpful , well this forum is not for me . sorry i wasted my time just trying to help some body.

    Truely we understand you Mr. Rider. It is Saturday, some members are having some fun......remember many are stuck in a rig somewhere. They did not mean to be cheap shots at you. Your scenario does bring up a lot of questions in the minds of many. If would help if you tell more about your experience, it couldn't hurt.
    Otherwise, I guess it is naptime for everyone.

    maybe your right GONEBUTNOTFORGOTTEN .
    there was a lot on my plate and i needed some quick cash . i was just released from the doc to go back to work from a work injury (out of work over a year, two surgery's) , bills were due + mortgage . i did go to the forum but all i found at the time were some pissed off driver's venting about crst . make no mistake , i'm not one of those driver's but as we all know sometimes you have to take with a grain of salt when someone is angry or at least i did . hindsight 20/20 right? anyway whats done is done . i won't make the same mistake twice and i will think twice about what i post on the forum from now on .

    Sorry Storm, I'm a wannabe, and since I got the bug in August of last year I been spending hours and hours in the web researching the trucking industry. First, I came across another forum where you are not allowed to put anything bad about companies -- I have not been there since I found this one in Nov. because of people like YOU who have the GUTS to tell their story: the good, bad, and ugly and not too flattering. NOW, what MAKES THIS FORUM PRICELESS IS THAT WHAT IS POSTED HERE GETS ANALYZED AND TAKEN APART by pretty FIERCE PEOPLE ---> but MOSTLY truthful and honest and NOT in a mean spirited way ---> I must have read 100s of pages, by now, and OTHER THAN A FEW TROLLS attention people here are seeking the truth ---> maybe not delicately, but WHATTAYOUWANT DUDE!!!!!!???? BUNCH OF TRUCKERS HERE!!!!!!!:biggrin_2553:
    Seriously, I am very grateful for this place I learn about situations that I could easily fall into and how to avoid them... So you ARE appreciated!
