Really? How so? could have been during normal heavy traffic, and at times you can't keep your distance.. Easy to say, when it is not you involved... 117Ft tells me he was trying to keep a safe distance.. But you should now, that at 4 wheelers will move in a open space between 2 vehicles when given a chance, especially if one is a big truck..

Don't worry about it being a career killer, like others have said, your in a good area for jobs, just keep on looking.. Some one will hire you if you explain in detail, and also get something from the police saying you did you best..

So not only were you not at fault, but the whole thing was proven to be a scam (crime committed by someone else that you were a victim of), and your insurance company is charging you for it because they were dumb enough to pay out before the case went to court? I'd drop that insurance company like a bad habit. Immediately.

Cost you 15 years with Schneider.

That's how long you'll have to wait before they'll even consider you. Regardless of the outcome........

You don't have to believe it. Let him call them and ask. I did read the thread, before I posted.

I have a friend with a similar incident that has tried....twice. He too got hired somewhere else.

No ticket was issued. No fault was assigned. He made the mistake of mentioning the incident.

When I reported the accident to the insurance company, they were anxious to settle with all the other parties. Their reason: It was cheaper to offer a settlement than a court battle and recoup their payout from the policy holder. I told them I was going to court and to wait for the outcome. That's when they told me about the "99% rule".

At renewal time i was going to leave, but even with the 20% increase, all quotes I received from other companies were considerably higher. So I just decided to stay.
