Life at American Central Transport (ACT)

Finished orientation Friday 01/06 ACT shop put new batteries on the truck that I leased because the ones that where on the truck where bad. No charge to me. Now the bad news, I broke down 70 miles from the terminal due to the shop did not hook up the batteries correct. Had to be towed (403 dollars) to TA and the techs there figured this out after 3 hours (378 dollars) Good news, ACT covered it because this was my first trip out (priceless)

What kind of truck did you get, payments,term,etc and do they have alot of trucks too pick from? and congrats

 

In order to do a lease purchase from ACT, how much experience do you have to have?

 

Where ACT find those mechanics????..

 

My friend has orientation on the 22nd. He's also looking at the lease, hoping he tells me everything I want to hear so that I can come aboard.

 

Been a while snce I last posted. Been here at act since aug and still love my job. I have made a lot of money and have made some great friends. Act truely cares and it shows.
