Called them, they only offer email service for delivery query....emailed them, waiting on response. Thinking I may just show up acting meak and confused two days early....bet they take the freight some time sooner than Thursday...lol. Thanks.

Hey guys I have a question??? As soon as you get a truck and start driving solo, when you go home can you park it at the nearest KW from your house??? Or how's it work's???

 

Stevens has both drop yards and Kenworths depending on what is closest to your home.

 

I live in Astoria, NY and I was checking on KW and there is one in the Bronx,NY that's like 30 min away form my house. Is this counts when I become a solo driver for Stevens ??? And thanks for your answer, be good out there

 

Depends if that dealer will let Stevens use there lot as storage. They may not have a big lot so parking may be at premium as everywhere else near the city

I don't know for sure as I don't drive for Stevens but I know are NYC guys have to leave there trucks in the Newark/Elizabeth area. There are places there to securely park a truck but you will have to pay for the security/yard space, which I would happily do because the area is not the greatest.

You never know Stevens may have a secure customer @ Hunts Point that will let them keep trucks there for a couple of days.

Now if Donna wants elogs on his trucks because he is a risk to the company and Angelea over rode that recommendation then Angelea is not a good business person. The day his accident happens a lawyer will have a huge cash payement if his statement is true.

He has his beliefs which will not change and does not understand a person being different and earning less money than him can be happy and satisfied.

Sitting here at the Longmont Truck Corral in Longmont, CO. have a 2345 delivery tonight. Got to receiver last night at 2300.
Dates were screwed up, so another day of sleep.
At least it isn't snowing.

 

Shamus likes to stand on his soap box and while he has an audience he won't stop. Best to let him realize the audience has left by being silent. He won't change.

 

Shop has finally got to my truck, and yep need a new EGR cooler... They say check back after 9pm tonight.
