Antron 99

I ran one on 10 meters for years it worked just fine. I did not find the GPK to have much effect snce it is a 1/2 wave antenna.

 

Bruce did you have to mod your A99 from CB mode to work on the 10 meter band?

 

The A99 should cover the novice/tech portion of 10M at the factory settings with an acceptable SWR

My A-99 would go from below 26.965 to 28.500 with a 1:8-1 or less.

 

I use my ANT 99 from 14 MHz to 29 MHz, of course I use an antenna tuner out of the 10 meter band.

I bought the antenna new, I have NEVER adjusted the ring for SWR adjustment, just used it as is out of the box.
