That was fun. Just spent the better part of two hours getting my truck unstuck. Snow covered the curb I ran over and ice prevented me from backing out of it. Right steer tire was in mud to the axle. It was funny that I called the line for my dbl, got a nightshift girl on the phone, and as soon as I told her I was in a parking lot stuck in snow and ice, I got it out. Told her she was my good luck charm and we parted ways.

Mine tried to tell me a John Deere plant was in the middle of a residential neighborhood down a 1 lane road. Got to the intersection and said F that and kept rolling.

Actual location was 4 miles up the road still.

I'd like to know who the hell programmed these things. My phone found the right address in 2 seconds, that stupid computer took 5 minutes to find the wrong address.

That's exactly why I'll never take a "regional" position with a carrier such as SNI. Been burned like that before. If I'm going to run the system, I'll be paid like a system driver.

Does Schneider let you take the truck home on your home time or do you have to park it at the terminal and drive to the house?

It does not matter to me a whole lot as Atlanta is not that far from me. Just wondered because I could tidy up the truck on home time if they let me take it to the house.

If you live less than 50 miles, you are supposed to leave at the OC. I have known drivers that live less to take their truck home within the 50 mile radius. Check with DBL>

Because "southeast regional" also includes the northeast. I got stuck up there for a good 2 1/2 weeks running up and down the coast. delivering into new York gets u a lil more pay
