How often do you guys get home?
I'm hoping to go with Schneider after school ends (March). I know about calling and asking, but I'd like to here from actual Schneider drivers. Being a newb, I shouldn't be asking about hometime. Having said that, I hope to be home 1 day a week.

Schneider has different positions with different home time, check their website.
I am OTR and get one day off for each week I stay out, I normally stay our 4-5 weeks and take 5 days off, but I am going home next weekend for my anniversary after only being out 3 weeks, cause my wife demands it LOL. -
one day a week? you need to check the dedicated jobs we have.
-
Oh believe me, I have
Walmart dedicated in my area is 6/3.....I have filled in for it, not thanks!!!
They need drivers for the Dedicated Honda account, salary position, 2 days off a week, but I live 45 miles away, and you can only live 25.
JC Penny dedicated has a waiting list longer than the doubles on I80 that passed me 3 weeks ago.
I will get one eventually, when it comes along, but I like OTR for now. -
I'm going to be doing Midwest regional. Will be out from 6 to 10 days with 2 to 3 off (probably more like a reset to 3 days). Your best bet is to check their website to see what's available for your area. You can prompt the system to notify you when new jobs are posted.

What are the chances of a rookie getting on a dedicated account?
-
check Schneider's website for jobs in your area....they state if they hire recent grads for that position.
I could have got wal-mart dedicated as a rookie. -

Jake, my response was to one2learn. I know about the 1 day per week out. I think he wants one day EACH week, meaning working 6 and home one. AINT GONNA HAPPEN on an OTR account.

but he could do 5/2 or 6/3 or 4/4 or 7/7 or.......... check the website and look for the jobs hiring in his area and allow inexperienced drivers.
