JCT does have nice looking equipment. Not fond of the Cascadias at all though, but I guess new can be nice anyway. The 660s IMO, are pretty sweet.

I'd take a new 660 over a Cascadia any day, any week, any time. Haven't spoken to a driver with a new 660 that had an ill word to say about it.

Can't say that about the Cascadia.

Everything is in reach up front and fuel mileage is so much easier. I used to lease one, loved it! I really like the metallic orange one I always see of JCTs...... same color as my Chevy Colorado almost. Love it!

I guess 6% out of service in over 2000 inspections is somehow bad when the national average is 5.5%? Also according to last audit fmcsa rated it conditional, not unsatisfactory. Please don't spread rumors on something you don't know all the facts about

So you got on this thread to say something that has been said before, while only stating opinion on a matter that you basically can't backup with substantive evidence or proof in an effort to spread rumor and deceit? Good job. Atleaste I'm here because I know a few people and not just being an anal cavity with what appears to be a serious vitamin B deficiency ..........

So I've narrowed down my choice of companies to go with and it's either going to be JCT or Hill Bros., but still not sure which one is good to go with.

I already know pretty much what vehicle I will be driving if I were to sign on with Hill Bros. where it's pretty much a free-for-all with JCT (if I read and understood these post correctly).

I would be signing on as a L/O if I indeed I sign on with Hill Bros.

I just wanted to know if indeed JCT pays for Base plates and permits? and do they take that back out of your settlements?

I would really like to know what kind of truck you get. Meaning, are these trucks the typical bare bones work truck you would typically find or are they somewhat decked out? I don't think they would be "owner/op" spec'd, but it's another thing if they are just plain jane trucks.

IF you guys don't mind me asking, I was just wondering what some of you L/O or O/O are bringing home on your settlement?

Is it reasonable to think I can bring home at the very least $1k a week or am I fooling myself with this company? especially with E-logs? Have any of you guys run into problems because of E-logs? And is there any advice you can give prior to me going into orientation?

Thanks for any info you can provide. :biggrin_25519:

By the way, I did post pretty much the same questions on Hills Bros. thread. I'm just trying to get as much information as I can to make what I hope to be a wise decision.

Take a read over the last 100 pages or so and you'd get an idea and most of your questions answered.
