Am one of the few that seems to get dirty tarping or is there some trick I haven't learned all of these years.
I do wear gloves yet my hands and arms and clothes seems to get almost black after tarping a full load.
Even as an experience skateboarder/flatbedder, I'd sure like to keep things little cleaner.
I know my next truck, I think I might get a shower in it.

Coveralls....I never get dirty when I'm tarping.
SHC, TURKER, volvodriver01 and 6 others Thank this. -
I'll second that. Even in hot weather; just throw 'em on for a few minutes and get it done! -
Yep. Just get some coveralls...

In hot weather I remove my shirt before I put the coveralls on and it helps a lot.
When I was a rookie I used to kind'a chuckle at the "old guys" puttin' on their coveralls to tarp and tie down but after a while I got tired of having to change clothes or be dirty and found out that those "old fools" knew some things that I didn't.

Yea, I got coveralls. Pretty much just carry them this time of the year. Kinda hate wearing them. I should look for some lighter pair.
Just seems it shouldn't be a dirty job. -
I stay clean by just touching the tarp with my gloves. I always see guys carrying them up against them, laying against them, crawling on them. But I'm a neat freak, hate getting dirty. Would rather die then let that tarp touch me.
Les2 Thanks this. -
A pair of cheap old Dickies coveralls will do the trick. I use them year round!!!

Easiest way to stay clean tarping....... Don't Lol
SHC and volvodriver01 Thank this. -
No kidding, some guys look like they're molesting those tarps. Most guys that do that look like they crawled out of a smoke stack before they even touched the tarps. It's just the dirt still on them from the previous 3 loads they've done without a shower.
SHC and volvodriver01 Thank this.
