Noise trucks parking next to you

I can handle noise as long as it's consistent. I hate air governor not working guy!

 

My first two years in the Air Force, lived in the barracks, worked nights.
Jet engine test cell was across the street from barracks, and they only ran engines during the day.

 

got used to the noises after awhile, almost cant sleep without a reefer running lol

 

this new t700 is so quiet i cant believe it i hear nothing inside here when i am in the bunk just a lil vibration when the tripak kicks on I have to roll down the window to see if the reefer is running

 

Try sleeping on an aircraft carrier under the number 3 wire, which is the wire every jet is aiming for. It sounds like they are coming through your ceiling. The ear plugs work but usually will work their way out sometime during your sleep as well.

 

I like the people that pull in late and then start banging on stuff with a hammer or crowbar.

 

Does skipping the truckstops and sleeping in rest areas help with the noise issue?

 

No, then you get inconsistent road noise.

 

NO!!! Cuz then you have the jack*** locals running straight pipes come thru with theirs jakes on.

 

Either I sleep like the Dead or you Guys need some Big Girl Panties Last night one side Large car with a gen, other side Reefer set on Continuous and behind me another reefer set at -10 and slept like a baby!
