I am a firm believer in karma further I believe nothing constructive comes from damaging equipment. I do understand the rage felt when some ####### pulls one of these stunts. As I said in my last post on this subject I wanted to give that idiot a piece of my mind, but held my piece as I advised him to re-hook. On another thread in another section of these forums we have been discussing the C1 school in Indy. One of the things Keith one of the instructors said to the class once covered this. Keith said you will find most things that cause driver misery is inflicted by other drivers. I have found this to be true. My father was a truck driver. He drove trucks while in the Army and for the most part Trucking is all he did. He passed away in 1997 after a 6 year battle with his health. He and I used to talk about how things were in the 60s and 70s out on the road, my father would be appalled to see the current state of trucking. In this regard I am glad he has passed because it would break his heart.

i disagree with your biker comment, iv rode my entire life, and other than the exception of a very very small percentage of riders, it doesn't matter what you ride as long as your hair is in the wind.

i have come across a lot of truckers willing to help each other out but there are a lot of idiots in the industry that shouldn't even have a DL let alone a CDL. iv found your attitude has a lot to do with what you receive in return. I think if more people led by example rather than belly aching more of these jackwads would come around.

I ride Harley's and a little Suzuki s40 thumper. Every biker waves to me. REAL bikers respect each other on the road, provided you are behaving in a friendly and non-aggressive manner.

Same goes in my rig. I give and get respect even from the old-school owner-ops out there. You get what you give.

I've never been addressed negatively by another biker.

You get they same type of complaints at the Harley forums. Someone does this, someone doesn't do that. Just shut up and ride/drive. If I'm on the Harley and I see someone on a bike, I wave. They know why I'm in a good mood! Be Safe!

I take the inside lane because most can turn right on red.Its easier to swing wide when there isnt a car sitting where you are turning,so if its clear I go

I've got an old s83 (Intruder 1400). For the most part other riders are great, just the occasional bad apples like everywhere else.

    corneileous, PackRatTDI, Exrayman4000,

Points taken, and thank you for your opinions.

I will curtail my use of the lights due to the DRLs.
As I am a company driver who's shop frowns on mods I will have to leave the wiring alone.
I too am light sensitive, and I try to look indirectly to lights when checking mirrors, although they do hit the retinas occasionally.
Wasn't meaning t be a stealer of the thread.
