Why not take you 34 hour restart at home?

You take what you can where you can! It's like sleep in the field! Besides if you're home for 2 days then you get that 34 reset! But some of these idiot BFI's think that if you got home at 0245 Saturday then you're good for a dispatch at 1300 Sunday afternoon! They could care less about the maker of every dollar that comes into their pockets what kind of time they get at home with their families as long as THEIR or high dollar income because they are the owner time isn't messed with!

I'd better stop now before this turns into a rant!

If you have to take a 34 while out on the road it's always nice to take it somewhere that has something to experience like NYC or Atlanta or somewhere in Fl or where ever! But when you go home hope you get enough time for the family and the reset!

 

About home every week, what if your home every week wasn't even 34 hours? I realize you'd need to fit a 34 in somewhere, but the idea of only being home once a week with no solid day off is offputting, even with a well-respected company. Perspective anyone??
