Sni will run you on some god awfull routes. I dont understand them sometime. They will send you 800mi on back roads with stop and go shifting the whole way with 45k lbs. To save 30mi over the interstate where you can set the cruis and get double the fuel mileage. Last week coming out of pennington al going to wausau wi the qc routed it backroads all the way to springfield il. I cut over to memphis and jumped on the big road. Two and a half days on back roads was enough fod me i needed a shower and i didnt have enough time to be averaging 45mph the whole way

So the question is: What happens when SNI finds out about the off-route driving?

OMG I am such a rookie. LoL this little tid bit of common sense never even dawned on me and I have had SO many trailer tandem bars not cooperate with me it's not even funny. *Sigh* Gonna buy these tomorrow. Now any tips for when the king pen handle doesn't want to let go so I can uncouple the trailer? Getting frustrating having to rehook everything and drive/bounce the trailer around to get what ever it is stuck unstuck. LoL thanks. Oh and really enjoying the posts. Such a great idea to keep a running journal of everything. Been driving with SNI since Sept. 9, 2011 and still feel I made the best choice working for this company. Also have to say my truck was not trashy nasty but whoever lived in it before me was a MEGA chain smoker and the ash and soot on the floor and sticky all over the plastic took forever to clean...The odor still lingers even 4 months later but I am happy with my truck. It's an auto as well and other than the backing, I love it. Anyway, again, great post...Keep em coming and be safe.

From what my DBL told me this only applies to Phase 3 drivers then you have to keep OOR under6% to get your bonus. I was told to keep it under 10% if I didn't want to get called and told to watch it but at least until phase 3 OOR does not affect bonus pay.

If you have forward psi on the jaws they will not unlock. When you are.unhooking set.the trl brakes then put the truck in reverse and push against the king pin then set the trk brakes. If.it doesnt.open.then you have a bad fifth wheel
