Newbie needing help

    I am currently 20 years old and won't be 21 til October but was wondering if it would be stupid to apply for USX before I go to school to get my cdl or after I get finished with my training? I also looked over there application to see what I would need to fill it out correctly and in a timely manner and seen that it ask if you have had any speeding tickets that are 15mph over the speed limit and I have one from 2010, will this disqualify me from working for USX? I have completely changed the way I drive lol thanks for the help

    With that ticket you'll probably need to wait another year. That is considered reckless operation. Most companies will make you wait until that is off your 3 year record. Have yu talked to a school yet? They might not even take you.

    Biggest issue: speeding ticket. 2nd biggest issue, not turning 21 (can't drive CMV over state lines until 21) for 10 months. Wait to go to school.

    Thanks for everyone's input. I emailed USX still waiting on a response. If I don't put it on there is there a way that they can find it? The reason I got the ticket was cause the speed limit had dropped from 65 to 55 and I didn't notice it and the flow of traffic was still going 70 with me and I just so happened to be the one to get pulled over. Man I hope this don't #### up my chance of driving trucks it's been a dream for a while now since about 5th grade

    Trust me when I tell you ANY company will find it. You do not want to lie about such things. You will get kicked out of orientation.

    Im 27 and just starting out and im with us express im about to start traning next week sometime anybody that can help me find a parking place for my rig once i start i will much appreciate it and my advice to u man is start looking up places to park urr rig now other then later
