I hate boxes.... They rarely make it in the same condition inwhich they left. Put um in a crate or something else that can be tightened down proparly

Hey flatbedders!! I was approved back in October for orientation but cancelled due to tragic death in the family. I'm in the process of getting things in order again so I can come and join Prime! I currently have 8 years driving experience with Class B CDL driving school bus and tour bus. I have had tour bus in Chicago, NYC, DC, and up and down the east coast. My goal at Prime is to join the flatbed division, that being said I have some questions: 1. I live north of Charleston on 77, do you guys get through here much? 2. Is there any chance I can land a trainer in the flatbed division? 3. What kind of miles do you all get in the division? Really appreciate your answers....my mind is made up though on coming to Prime, and if I have to train with reefers then so be it! Thanks guys!

    1. Ive dropped in Charleston, we also have other customers in NC.
    2. Depnding on the number of trainers available vs the number of students.
    3. Been getting good miles, over 2500, a week if not disturbed

    wvtrucker23 Thanks this.

I'm guessing that "wvtrucker23" stands for W.Virginia trucker23 living North of Charleston, WV on I77.

I'll give ORD the benifit of the doubt that he wasnt talking about Charleston SC (nowhere near I77). So there is at least one customer in WV.

Do you flatbedders have other customers in WV, or can WVtrucker23 expect the bulk of flatbed customers to be two states away in NC?

Im assuming we mean WV... No one said anything about the state. Im sure we have somewhere in WV. We have atleast 2 places in Virginia we pick up from, been to both. You should be ablet to get home if thats what youre asking about.

Boxes belong in a van, not on a flatbed.

    wvtrucker23 Thanks this.

yeah the two of you can have fun in wv and boxes do belong in a van kind of hard to secure them w/o crushing it
