There is absolutely no difference in the flash file of an MXS/NXS acert engine whether it was the first one written or the latest and greatest one written by CAT as far as the injection timing is concerned. The emission standard for the BXS/MXS/NXS Acert engine hasn't changed since it was introduced for sale by CAT in 2004 to today. The only reason the earlier 3406E and very early 6NZ engines have different files is the emission standard changed and CAT was forced by the EPA to change the files in the ECM. This never happened with the Acert engines. So always use the newest file in an Acert. If you think that I'm kidding about losing Customer Parameters and not being able to reprogram them........... then go ahead and back date the file in an NXS to an early one from an MXS to see what will happen
Don't chittt yourself when the Tattletale increases to some outlandish number either.......it could be higher than 2000 when your done. Hopefully your generator can produce passwords that high
