There ought to be a forum called "Common Questions That You And Everyone Else Wants To Ask--Read This First." And it ought to be required reading. With a test on Friday. :)

Need to add that is Stevens policy. Local ordanances may prevent a person from taking the truck home.

As a company driver you can NOT leave it at a Truck Stop. It has to be an approved secured location such as a Kenworth, peterbilt or Thermo King dealer.

If Stevens hires you they will find you a secure place to park. Dont worry about it.

    DenaliDad Thanks this.

Don't count on them doing it for you. If you wait for your DM to make arrangements to park your truck you will never get home. Find a dealer near your home, get their number off the interweb, give them a call and ask if they have secure parking you can use while on home time. Mention that you drive for Stevens, they usually have no problem. I always gave them a call the day before I would get home to make sure they had a spot for me. It's just polite. Plus if they don't you have time to find alternatives.
