SCHNEIDER-----Thoughts?

Unless they just reopened a terminal in Smyrna in the last couple of months, the terminal there has been shut down for a couple of years. They were supposed to open a new drop yard in Nashville near the airport in September, but as of this date, it remains unopened.

 

I called. Phone disconnected.

I'll bet they are getting the old Roadway Terminal in Antioch.

 

That I do not know. I know the land is purchased somewhere near Dell. I was told it is a cleared area with no buildings.

 

I called and got a bubble head that wouldn't let me talk to a real recruiter. Told me to fill out the online app. I don't want anyone contacting my company until I know what kind of money we are talking about.

well all i can say is maybe you hearing is a little off...i was leased to schneider for 2 years on the choice side i made good money and did what i wanted they have some of the best facilitys you will ever go in. i left becuase i had an older truck i sold it planning to buy another truck but changed my mind. i have been thinking of buying another truck and heading back lately. no they are not perfect they have some crazy ideas and they all do but the good is far ahead of the few little things that get on ones nerves..

 

they tave me that option and i chose not to contact my co and they did anyways. Cost me a couple grand they didnt pay me after they found out. I tore that recruiter a new ### but its not like theyre gonna pay me

 

The "Nashville" Drop yard/OC is now open and running in Lebanon, TN where Dell used to be. It's off I-40 xt 232. No real services to speak of as the building is small and only open during normal business hours, but LOTS of parking. And it's only 6 miles from my house so I'm happy.
