Why are you heterosexual?

 

I understand wha'cher sayin' Notez, but some folks don't seem able to recognize their own problems. They are, however, able to focus their attention on what they perceive as problems in others.

It seems to be beyond the comprehension of some that their inability to accept others who don't conform to their ideology is also a problem, --- and it's their problem. Those who include ridicule as a result of their inability to live and let live have yet another problem, and that additional problem has the potential for creating problem(s) and grief for the targeted individual(s).
If wrong is wrong it's wrong,..... and two wrongs don't make a situation right.
IF a wrong is goin' on, addin' another wrong to the mix don't make doin' what's wrong, right.
It ain't likely to change anyone's mind-set anyway, so what's the point of rockin' the boat?
Personal gratification?
Attention?
Self-Righteousness?
On a mission from God? --- 'cause He says it's a sin?

"A sin is a sin", sayeth the Lord.
Big sin --- Little sin, ............ doesn't matter.
They're all the same on the scoreboard, .... 'cept for a few. If anyone goes that far there's more to worry 'bout than the subject we're discussin' here.

"Love the sinner,
Hate the sin".
God instructed us to do that, too.

I think the reason we don't point out that we're heterosexual is because that's assumed.
There are those who exhibit mannerisms that might tend to make us wonder, and some that leave no doubt.
Some don't tell, .... and prefer not to be asked.
While a few others are more vocal and in-your-face.
Even radical.
I don't appreciate the latter.

I've had a co-driver who told me right up front that he was bi-sexual. His reasoning was that he'd rather I heard it from him than by chance through the grapevine, and think he was tryin' to hide it, --- which he wasn't. He wasn't obvious about it either. If asked, he'd tell. Some of the conversations we had on that subject were very enlightening.
The thing that bothered me most about him was when he fueled up the Big truck, --- I couldn't budge the fuel tank cap. That dude was strong! And one of the best co-drivers I ever had.

It's my opinion that if anyone refrains from associatin' with someone only 'cause they're gay, they're doin' themselves a dis-service.

Now, ............. who did I borrow this soapbox from.
