Don't want to listen to a reefer running. Had drivers nose in next to me many times. That was the reason they gave.
VisionLogistics, Raiderfanatic, Mommas_money_maker and 3 others Thank this. -
More like afraid the steering wheel holder attempting to back into the empty space next to me can't back up and will miss the space. If I'm nosed in, he'll bump the company's trailer. If I'm backed in, he'll tear the nose off my truck. I'd rather not have my truck torn up by some knucklehead who's too lazy to get out and look.kw9's rock, double_r, Southpaw7391 and 6 others Thank this.

If they can't back into a space they're sure in trouble trying to back out after nosing in .

As said in the other thread: Because I want to be left alone. And I want to look at something besides other trucks when I'm relaxing. Of course, other times, I back in because I want to see the show. Heh

Usually the only time I'll do it is if I'm at a truck stop with slanted parking. Seems like i always get to those after all the pull-throughs are taken and no matter which direction you go down the aisle it's always setting you up to blindside back into the spot, which I don't like to do next to other guys trucks if there's a lower risk maneuver available. So I'll nose it in in those cases. In regular parking lots I back in since it's easier to get out in the morning.
ship71021 and kw9's rock Thank this.
