LOL I wish reefers just hummed! You might consider a hearing test.
More like they pound my sleeper walls with 50Hz vibes that even my best earplugs jammed in tight won't block out.

The question was "nosing in........WHY?" I didn't say a professional driver wouldn't or couldn't nose in, as stated there are viable reasons why someone would do this. However, 99% of the time, those that do do it, are not doing it for those reasons, they are doing it because they are too lazy.

No one mentioned: wind direction.
Wind direction often dictates which end of the truck stop I park at and which way I point my truck in the space.
Don't drink downstream from the herd and don't breath downwind from the trucks.
But shouldn't the question be: Why do drivers park in the driveway?texan007 Thanks this. -

Get real driver. You're way off on that statement. This thread is proof of that -

There's also storm direction, speaking of planning ahead. I keep an eye on the weather and look at the radar both on my phone and laptop for what might be coming through or what I might be driving into. I try to keep the load between me and the storm rolling in. So yeah, you might wonder why I nosed in when I didn't have to but maybe you'll realize why when the hail smashing into your windows wakes you up later on. -

So if you think the guy doesn't know how to drive, why not offer to help him learn? It would take less time than it did to indulge in this little hiatus of anything constructive. Maybe they are lazy? Ever thought that in most cases a truckers job is to sit for 11 hours a day....get out WATCH someone unload the for a bit the be forced to take 10 hrs off. JUST SAYING YOUR NOT GOING TO ATTRACT JOGGERS, TRACK STARS, SERIOUS WEIGHT LIFTERS, MULTITASKERS........just not real likely. NOPE So in many ways this job is perfect for lazy people. No touch freight, 100% drop n hook just look at these ads for jobs ......now tell me who is there "target audience" dude its lazy people.
Don't get me wrong many of us are not but wake dude! Have you had a random lately? Lol just poking at cha man
