Qualcom, Navigo how I love thee!

I was just being lazy to try and get sni directions back to obetz so I can plan this leg of my trip!!Actually , was only looking to get total miles left. No go on QC. sent like 4 diff msg in. Not one single reply. One was to DBL too. Who's been very good at replying as a good babysitter should!!!

 

Mine hasn't worked most of the afternoon. Parked now in TN and it still isn't working, so you're not alone.

 

When hubby came into the NLR terminal this afternoon, he mentioned to me that he did not know what the flashing antenna looking icon meant. I told him that I thought it had something to do with the fact that the antenna looking icon on the screen had a red X on it. So, we went into the visitor center where hubby's ex-trainer was working and we were told the Qualcom had been down for all of Maverick Transportation for quite a while.

 

Not too long ago , I got a msg recvd from Tom the Safety GUY!!!! Apparently hard braking and instablity is on an upswing. That alot of it is coming from Obetz guys!! Ummmm, too inexperienced just yet to know what will pull around a curve or corner at faster than posted.

Need to talk to the shop guys. Brakes seem a little grabby on the drivers side of the tractor. Not really an overt pull to that side but something doesnt seem/feel right. In the meantime, good following distance and sit awareness is doing wonders!!!!!!

 

you should alwayss write down the directions. about four times now the gps has froze up on me in the last few miles before arrival. when you need it most of course

it was company wide, I couldn't get directions or send or receive any messages.

and I got the same message about us drivers out of "obetz" lol, I have ONE hard brake since I have been with the company, and it was at christmas while I was bobtail lol

 

Had to drive without mine all day also. Thought it was just mine not working til I called this evening.

 

I guess it was more than company wide for you guys at Schneider

I work for Prime and my QC wasnt working all afternoon too. Called my dispatcher and he said it company wide having the same problems.

Wonder if the recent solar storm caused any problems with the sattelites.

 

We got a message on QC today (Conway Truckload) stating it would be down for about 3 hours beginning at 1715cst. Funny thing is I got that message at about 1915.
