Otr drivers

Not even 3rd rate ####stirring. I get more of a debate out of an Iron Skillet waitress by me demanding my toast be buttered on BOTH sides.

 

My wives take care of each other...HA HA HA

 

My buddy left OTR for local. Now he gets paid $9/hr and works 90 hrs/wk. I net 1200/wk working for one of those so-called BFI.

 

I love OTR. I've done local, regional, line haul, nights, days, weekends. I've done hourly, miles, O/O...I love OTR.
Kids long grown, wife that still hangs round after 40+ years.
I netted over $70,000 last year with one of those so called BFIs.
Not rich. Not poor.
But as the sign says, "I'm lovin' it!"

 

who's taking care of your wives Anyone with more than 1 would already be LOCAL and likely want OTR to get some rest.

FACT: There are some OTR jobs that pay more then local jobs
FACT: There are some OTR jobs that provide hotels for driver layover every night.

If you lived where I do (Wayne county Missouri) which is the poorest county in Missouri, I believe you would feel different unless you would like working in sawmills making less than peanuts. A lot of people around here are truck drivers because its the best way around here to make a living unless you dont mind driving 50-60 miles one way to work in a factory that pays enough to cover the bills and gas for the next week. Im sorry to hear that your so down on the OTR I hope your day gets better.
