When u first looked at the truck was the airbags inflated or deflated?
-
when i 1st looked at ours both front were deflated, came right up when i started the truck, 100,000 miles later still no prob with the airbags
-
it's quite possible that all those internationals were just moved around on the lot too.
my air bags go flat when the pressure reaches zero. which can be within 12 hours. -
i just bought my second truck from them. i saw all the trucks they had. most were pretty nice. they are what they are, used trucks. i still stick to my statement hat if your not competant to pick out a good truck from a bad then you should not be buying a truck, or at the very least you should pay someone who can. and even then there is always the unknown. i do know theyre good people up there. they get people into trucks who cant otherwise and for that they are the best. there is just so many scammers out there to take advantage of us and LM isnt one of them. i have bounced four or five payments to them over the years and they dont badger me. they call and say "when can we put it back through?" i tell them when the money will be there and they resubmit. no fuss, no stress of ten phone calls a day. Joe went way out of his way for me on this sale. this truck was a voluntary surrender they called to tell me they had because.they knew i was looking for something a little nicer then my freightliner and it was pushing 800k mi. i must have given them a list as long as my arm of things to fix and they did. they even put brand new bridgestone steers on it when i was happy to just swap over the dunlops i had just put on my freightliner. they also gave me what i feel to be a very good price. low payments and a short term. say what you want but i always stick up for these guys. i would have been out of trucking 4 years ago if it wasnt for them.
in my experience the people who bash them i have noticed the longer they talk, the more you notice why. lol
only thing i could suggest they do better is clean the interiors better. some are clean, some not so much.JHoovestol and trucker91 Thank this. -
they are good folks at lone mountain, my experience with them has been excellent. i love my lone mountain truck.
JHoovestol and trucker91 Thank this. -
I am about to pay off my Lone Mountain truck in March. The truck has been reasonably sound and everything has basically been like a regular loan for the equipment. I maintain the truck the way I want with no restrictions and add or subtract equipment as I see fit.
I would definitely do business with them again.123456, JHoovestol, trucker91 and 2 others Thank this. -
ya I had my last truck for almost 300k miles and it never missed one day f work in the shop. all I ever put into it other then regular maintenance was a radiator for $700 (done myself on my hometime) turbo vpod at freightliner for $750, Starter for a touch over $300 and an ac compressor and clutch for right about $750 also
I sent a LOT of time picking out the best truck I could. -
Companyman,If you dont mind me asking what truck did you get just get from LM and what were the terms(downpayment monthly payment)Any info would be appreciated.

it wasn't one of their normal stock trucks. it's a Martin t600 from last year. it was returned by the owner with only about 60k miles more then he bought it with. it was kind of a special situation but essentially I am finishing the last 30 months of the lease at $1095/mo
