Yes, it was $3 a loaded mile plus FSC (about .25cpm back in 2005) so I got $1.50 for ALL miles.

    BigfootWRL Thanks this.

Injun, I haven't seen a fuss, just discussion.
I'm mainly trying to figure out what all I need to figure out so that I can pull the trailers when they are purchased. The rest of the time, I'll be pulling my van as usual.

OK, cool. Thanks for the help. Now, I have to figure out the insurance part. My insurance guy said my liability would cover me if they don't want to insure the trailer for loss. That would be easier because I would not have to have him figure out insurance on a second trailer for a couple of days. Does that make sense? I'm a little under the weather and doped up. :biggrin_25523:

Meh...never hurts to have the endorsements. Might come in handy somewhere down the line. Didn't mean to come off as snarky. Shoulda used that waggling tongue smiley.

shc, i do believe you are correct. a new tank that have never had product, is shipped empty and under mso wouldnt need an endorsement.

same thing as when we haul new empty tanks on a flatbed.

i have the tank/hazmat endorsement so it doesnt matter to me.

its like if we pull a piece of equipment that has a tank on it , that has had a haz mat in it. if we have a certification that the tank was cleaned and purged the driver doesnt need haz mat endorsement.

    SHC Thanks this.

You do need the endorsement . If you don't have a transport tag you will temp registration for each trailer . Your freight is the trailer so your cargo insurance might cover it .

    SHC and BigfootWRL Thank this.
