your words : "Cretecarrier is an outstanding company" and "Not true at all". well put. Personally, 4 years ago I quit when a manager (Macungie terminal) tried to force me to change fleets. I quit, complained to Mr Acklie, and was told the manager was wrong and was asked to return. That manager has THREE times blocked my return to the company. The latest was after Shaffer tried to recruit me a few months ago and he was contacted and reported I was not eligible for rehire (contradicting my company DAC report). 2 years ago I tried to rejoin Crete and demanded I get my prior dedicated account back and be assigned to Marietta. I showed up for rehire orientation and found myself (surprise) assigned to Macungie and not to my GM account. Obviously I did not stay on. That petty SOB 4 years later is still PO'd at me for complaining to Duane Acklie. You are wrong, I know TWO terminal managers, both named Bill, who only care about a driver who can scratch their back and take any abuse they put out (ignoring time off requests and not paying deadhead for instance). Face it, you WANT to come across as a know it all, but you don't. Shills never do. And I'm now working a job that has 5 -6 12-16 hour shifts a week, so you know what you can do with your "lazy" comment.

 

So Crete is the only company to ever cause an accident because of drugs?

 

Read the report . There were documented messages from dispatch pushing the driver to drive way beyond HOS limits .

Don't think this was the only driver this dispatcher pushed to run this way .

What other proof is needed management knew how liable they were ? No remorse or accountability . Crete is owned and run by the lowest of lows .

 

Kilgor67...trk #35308 huh? This is a clear indicator that you have been with this outfit for awhile (newer trk)...kinda like 'The Blind Leading The Blind'. Which comes as no suprise that you sugar-coat your posts. A seasoned company driver does not give his/her cell number to anybody so the driver wont be bothered by shady dispatchers or incompetant fleet managers (who tow the company line). The grand per driver earned for recruiting a fellow driver is a scam and is the outfits answer to maintain credibility within the truck stops/industry. I will add something else these Pro Stars are straight junk....I would take a Ken T700 over these shop problems anyday.

Your brother's name D? if so he was my trainer with Crete back in 08. Awesome trainer and great guy.

 

I'n not saying what happened is good. I'm just saying that you talk about Crete like they are the worst of worst companies on this earth...
