Whats the deal with this blue tooth crap!

Blue Parrotts suck. They are the hardest headset ive ever owned to pair. They love to come unpaired randomly. Best advice I can give you. Never turn it off, and never separate it from your phone.

I honestly think thats why you see so many truckers eating diner with them on their head. They know theyve got a snowballs chance in hell of getting it to pair again.

 

you have a smart phone? pairs right back up on my t-bolt once I come back into range. On the rare occasion it doesn't I just push the big button once on the headset and it works again.

 

iv had a lot diffrent ones blue parret is buy fare the best iv seen.

 

We'll listen to the CB and see if BFI drivers are trying to sell one so they can buy a meal or start a thread at Report A Bad Company Here ....

Ya, my last two phones have both been android/smart phones. i dunno what the deal is. Maybe its my fat fingers and that stupid multi function button. I just dont get along with them. My neighbor called me with the same problem a while back. Took him days to get it to re connect lol

Have them swing through Wichita, they can have mine for free. I hate the #### thing, they can have my other one too (I forget the name) big dawg or blue tiger, hell i dunno. Looks just like a blueparrott

I think its actually this one. Theyve got a pretty good deal going on these. Even though there about $100 they have a 100% warranty on them. You can have them replaced x2 in a one year period for any reason. The only catch? You have to return it to their kiosk at the truck stop. They have about 5 or 6 of their kiosks over the US.

The specific one I have lets you record two minutes of your phone conversation. Which is kinda cool if your listening to a recording of receiver directions. Just hit record and you can replay it over and over.

I think ill stick with my Plantronics Voyager Pro. Not quite as loud as Parrots, but its good enough.

 

I found a speaker box that is my bluetooth. It goes on the visor and works great so far, since dec. I saw tht huge fine for talking on phone and decided it should be bought now instead of when i get a ticket.
