my best company would have to be transco lines out of russellville, ar. Nice equipment, 78 mph trucks, plenty of miles, dispatchers know what they're doing, you'll get home, they have some dedicated accounts. Lowes is 100% d/h. Nothing really negative to say except you'll run hard. Some loads are designed for teams, but if your known as a runner they'll put it on you. Like the memphis to fresno fed ex loads. This freight is light, is released at 10pm memphis time on fri and delivers at 10 pm fresno time on sunday. So go ahead and give em a call.
My best company is Transco Lines in Russellville, AR

How do you run 2000 mile loads from Memphis to Fresno in 50 hours as a solo? I'm surprised Fed Ex would use solos for that lane. Seems risky.
Doc W Thanks this. -
Are they really st at 78? I used to be a local driver for th lowes in mount Vernon and would see em all the time but didn't think they could haul arse. Lol learn something new everyday. I almost called em b4 I started this gig but on websit it says they pay u by how long u worked for them and not by experience u already have. I think it said 32 to star, so I was like f that. I wish I would have known about the 78mph trks and they let u run dirty or I would have definitely got over the 32cpm and gave em a call. -
Transco lines is in Russellville AR I think its exit 44 there is a flying J and Pilot truck stop there. Their trucks run pretty good. I'm not sure if they still pull fed ex freight. That freight was brokered through Landstar. We did the line haul. But if no teams were available, they would put the suicide mission on someone who was known for accomplishing this. Fed ex doesn't check your truck to see if there is a team driving. The contract says team so they assume a team is driving. I was there in 2004. I made a lot of money while I was there. I even got on a dedicated account pulling pups for southeastern freightways using transco lines tractor a peterbilt 387. That run was from Atlanta GA to Orlando FL 6 days a week. They still have that account. I run local now, but if I was back OTR I would go there. I must admit I did break the law sometimes while I was there. Who among us hasn't done that from time to time. I was in survival mode, the money was my motivator. If you take this load, from here to here, in this amount of time, and don't get caught, this is what I'll pay you. So I did it. Memphis to Fresno. A few times. Never got caught. And made lots of money. If had got caught I know the time. I knew full well the risk. Fatigue was never a factor, just the hours. I was out of them. I think a lot of companies out here bend the rules sometimes. This forum is full of em. But not a bad company over all. Just my opinion.
