Looking at a Chevy Kodiak it seems that the seat in the back converts into a bed, however, is it legal to sleep in it while you are working? DOT specifies that the sleeper has to be 24x24x75 and the Kodiak does not meet those specs.

You answered your own question , didn't you ? When the new HOS goes into effect you will be able to go off duty in a CMV .
I have heard the Freightliner FL70's and M2's are wide enough if you are interested in one of them . Chevy quit making medium duty trucks so you might have a problem with service and parts eventually . -
Brooks put hos chevy down due to parts issues.

Yeah , he claims he can't get injectors anywhere . He even checked on Chevy forums . He tried making some sort of claim with GMC but I think he has around 300,000 miles on it . Kinda hard to claim he didn't get his money's worth out of it .
