Companyman, If you laid off the drag racing your U-joint would probably be fine! Just kidding, If you want to come in we can take a look at it.
SHC, I think at the end we actually got it down to $10,000. Don't get me wrong, that's a lot of money, but on a $130,000 truck that doesn't seem too bad. Obviously the economy wasn't the greatest and these were some of the first trucks with DEF and people might not have been ready for the big price hike that came with the new technology.
Kansas, We try to stick to the big groups of matched trucks. We have helped people sell their trucks in the past, but we don't put those trucks out on lease, so usually we are selling to a wholesale buyer. -
Yes, I figured getting in on a brand new Peterbilt with $10,000 down and only $2,200 a month was a steal. I just had to sell my truck first and by the time I did you guys were not leasing them anymore.

no, i will buy one and do it. its my own fault for being lazy. it was too cold for this tx boy to be crawling around under a truck. no more buying trucks in winter, or on a friday for that matter.
if you cant drag race then whats the point?trucker91 Thanks this. -
I might consider this if I decide to stay in trucking. I compared LML's lease against traditional sale and they are in line with the dealers. I've been buying trucks for twenty years and always went the straight sale route, does LML lease o/o spec'd trucks or are they all fleet buyouts?

ya Joe. get on the new trucks. i will need another in two years. im thinking w900 with owner op specs should do nicely

Which company do you drive for and where are they located?

Hi all thanks for the great feed back on Lone Mountain. I have been doing research on them and others as I prepare to get into my own truck.I have been a company driver for over 15 years accident free and I want to go on my own. Even though I have money put aside for this venture I cant afford to by a truck straight out and can't use traditional financing because my credit is not good due to loosing both of my parent with in a year of each other a couple of years ago.Between taking care of them and medical bills funeral cost and so on I ended up getting for closed so I have to seek other avenues.
Does anyone here that has dealt with LMT know what their credit requirements are? Any info would be great full I thank you in advance. Be safe.
