I guess that I will take this one.... True we are not able to take the truck to a mechanic before we sign the lease, but we are able to go over our trucks with a fine tooth comb before we take our first load, and any problems are taken care of on their dime. Then we are allowed two or three trips to "discover" any other problems and those as well are repaired on their dime. These trucks are also covered under warranty till 600,000 miles. Hope that this helps.... Just my .02
