2 trucks & i want to start hot shoting

    Hey guys I now own a 2004 Pete and a 2009 Duramax. What I have been doing is not working out. I have my own authority, Cdl, and two years experience hauling cars but the market is killing me.
    I still have a 25ft. Flatbed and a 3 car wedge. I sold my double Decker car trailer.

    I would like to get into hotshoting as there are guys around me doing well.

    ANY ADVICE.

    I'd say if you want to run under your own authority, go out and start knocking on doors. Look up every business near you related to oilfield and go introduce yourself and see if you can start by booking a load, then make sure you deliver it perfect and early. That's been working for me. Good luck, the work is out there it just takes persistence to find it.

    Ya I've been doing that and calling old customers that i hauled cars/trucks for as many were delivered to oil/gas customers. Thanks

    Ever try to get on doing some power only work with your truck? I don't know how they do it in Texas but up here I know of some guys that have moved around some frac companies trailers with their trucks.
