    Getting your junk jingled is always part of the deal. I am sure they hate it is much as the rest of us. Other than that, everything else is cake. Maybe the doctor was fresh out of school.

    I took and passed the DOT physical without getting the bearings rolled. Maybe they didn't like me enough. :biggrin_2559::biggrin_25521:

    Literally just had hernia surgery today! I had a bilateral inguinal repair (one on each side of groin), and had no idea of one of the hernias until I was checked! My buddy has yet to have a hernia repaired that was found during a physical, he also was unaware of it.

    Was this a company Doc, or a walk-in clinic ? I got my last physical at a Minute clinic inside a CVS pharmacy last year. The chick NP who did it had no clue and mostly asked me if I had a "hernia" and how much I weighed etc. She freaked when I told her my BP before she even took it, since I take it daily at home.

    Walk-In...are there any other ways to test for a hernia that don't involve a ball exam?

    the way the NP checked me was to press around on my lower abdomen and around the groin area...she didnt even bother tryin to roll the bearings
